Flair (early)<\/span><\/h3>\n

Flair is an early variety with a good flavor. Flair is not susceptible to root diseases and is less sensitive for powdery mildew. The yield is a bit less, but the earliness in combination with a high sales price, early in the season makes it a very interesting variety.<\/p>\n

      Magnum (mid season)<\/span><\/h3>\n

      Magnum\u00ae is a June bearer. <\/span>This variety has a good vigour and requires little maintenance. <\/span><\/span>The large berries are short and conical in shape, very fragrant and juicy with a high Brix content<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      Berries do not bruise when picked due to its firmness and\u00a0<\/span><\/span>the shelflife is very good.<\/span><\/p>\n

        Sonata (medium early)<\/h3>\n

        Sonata is a medium early variety,\u00a0 a few days later than Elsanta. It has a really good flavor. The variety is less sensitive to mildew, but a little more sensitive to root diseases.<\/p>\n

        The beautiful shape of the fruit is exceptional and the number of misshaped fruits is very low.<\/p>\n

        The firmness of the fruits can be a little less in comparison to Elsanta, especially when growing strawberries in open field during hot weather conditions.<\/p>\n

          Limalexia is a new variety which stands out with it\u2019s beautiful big fruits, really good flavor and high yields. When fertilized well, the variety is less sensitive to powdery mildew. With hot weather, the Limalexia plant can maintain fruit size throughout the growing season.<\/p>\n

          Limalexia is a strong grower and because of this, it is less sensitive to root diseases. The strong roots makes sure that the plant experiences less stress.<\/p>\n

          The characteristics of this allrounder, makes the Limalexia even a very good fit for summer cultivation in a greenhouse!<\/p>\n

The fruit quality is excellent with a high percentage of class 1 fruits, a very good fruit size and firmness. It shows a very good shelf life. Also Elegance has shown a very good tolerance to rain. The variety is suitable for different types of cultivation systems.<\/span><\/p>\n

                Falco (mid season)<\/span><\/h3>\n

                Falco is a June bearer which produces large strawberries. It is a very strong variety with uniform and firm berries. <\/span><\/p>\n

                The Berries are juicy and fresh, intense red and have a bite and <\/span>remain firm even in warm weather. The shelf life is excellent. <\/span>The first berries can be slightly grooved.<\/span><\/p>\n

                Falco is very suitable for open field and tunnel cultivation. Falco has no special nutritional requirements. <\/span><\/p>\n

                And has a very strong resistance against Phytophtora Cactorum. <\/span>But is also showing good resistance to Botrytis and Rhizoctonia.<\/p>\n

                  The fruits have an excellent taste and a high and constant brix-level. <\/span>The strawberries are intense red, firm and not very sensitive to bruising.<\/span><\/p>\n

                    Since 2018 the stek-plants (tips) at Aardbei Extra are being cultivated on a unique table top system.<\/p>\n

                    The motherplants are cultivated in troghs, on gutters. Herewith the young tips partially develop themselves lying on a horizontal netting and \u00a0partly hanging in the air. So the plants will never get in contact with the soil. Therefore root diseases are eliminated to a minimum! The tips become stronger and more vital. With this method we can grow more plants on a smaller area, which means a more efficient use of fertilizers.<\/p>\n

                    The harvest of the tips occurs on site with the help of harvest trolleys which hover above the plants. Because of this, employees can stay straight up during the job.<\/p>\n

                    Flair (vroeg)<\/span><\/h3>\nFlair is een zeer vroeg ras met goede smaak. <\/span>Flair heeft weinig last van wortelziektes en is minder gevoelig voor meeldauw. <\/span>De kilo opbrensten zijn wat minder, maar de vroegheid in combinatie met de hoge verkoopprijs in het vroege voorjaar maken dit een interessant ras!<\/span>\n

                      Limalexia (middel)<\/span><\/h3>\nLimalexia is een nieuw ras wat opvalt door zijn mooie grote vruchten, zeer goede smaak en hoge opbrengsten. Mits goed gevoed is het ras ook minder gevoelig voor meeldauw. Bij warm weer blijft hij grove vruchten produceren. Limalexia is een sterke groeier en is hierdoor ook sterk tegen wortelziektes.<\/span>\nZijn sterke wortelgestel zorgt er voor dat de plant minder snel stress ervaart.<\/span>\n\nSamen met het behoud van vruchtgrootte maakt hem dan ook erg geschikt voor zomerteelten in een kas!<\/span>\n

                          Elegance (middel)<\/span><\/h3>\nElegance is een middelvroeg ras, wat erg productief is en het kan wat gevoeliger zijn voor meeldauw. De vruchtkwaliteit is uitstekend met een hoog percentage klasse 1, een zeer goede vruchtmaat, stevige vruchten, en laat het ras een zeer goede houdbaarheid zien. Tevens heeft Elegance een goede tolerantie tegen regen. Het ras is geschikt voor diverse teeltsystemen.\n

                            Sonata (middelvroeg)<\/h3>\nSonata is een middelvroeg ras, gelijk of iets later dan Elsanta. En heeft een erg goede smaak! Het ras is minder gevoelig voor Meeldauw, maar gevoeliger voor wortelziektes. De mooie vruchtvorm valt op, het percentage misvormde vruchten is zeer laag. De stevigheid van de vruchten is minder dan bij elsanta, vooral in de vollegrond tijdens hete periodes\n

                              Ingenieus teeltsysteem<\/strong><\/h2>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.4.3\" custom_margin=\"25px||||false|false\"]\n\nDe stekplanten bij Aardbei Extra worden sinds 2018 los van de grond opgekweekt. De moederplanten groeien hierbij in teeltgoten en de jonge stekken ontwikkelen zich hierbij gedeeltelijk liggend op tafels en hangend in de lucht. Hierbij komen de planten niet in contact met de grond, wat er voor zorgt dat problemen met wortelziektes uitgesloten zijn. De stekken zijn sterker en vitaler. Tevens kunnen er meer planten per m2 groeien waardoor we minder grond hoeven te benutten.\n\nHet oogsten van de stekken gebeurt ter plekke met behulp van oogstkarren die boven de planten zweven.
